A 27-year-old man who is serving a double life sentence for his part in a gruesome murder in Great Brak River will continue testifying against his "friend" and co-accused who is currently standing trial.
Thamsanqa Sishuba is testifying against the 29-year-old Stephen Lekoro who was on the run for nearly two years.
Lekoro is accused of being the mastermind behind the murder of the 72-year-old Tewie Human and his 62-year-old wife Eurika.
Tewie was brutally killed with a panga while his wife Eurika was stabbed several times.
Sishuba took the stand on Monday and told the court how the two of them planned the murder the weekend prior to the 2016 attack.
He said Lekoro, who worked for Tewie Human, accompanied him to the house on the day of the murder, armed with a knife which was found inside Tewie's clothes during his autopsy.
Sishuba told the court that he hit Tewie only once with a panga and ran away from the scene.
He testified that Lekoro had fled to Lesotho after the murders and phoned him to confess to killing both Tewie and Eurika.
Sishuba will continue testifying on Tuesday.
