The Chief Financial Officer of the Chris Hani District Municipality, Nomfundo Fetsha is expected back in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court on Friday, where she faces charges of fraud and theft.
Fetsha, along with her co-accused, Mfundo Kwani and his company, Mfuraa Projects and General CC, have been charged with fraud, theft and forgery.
This relates to an alleged request by Fetsha to a company for a R100 000 donation which was later transferred to Kwani's company.
This was allegedly done without providing the necessary documentation as required by the Municipal Finance Management Act.
The pair are out on bail of two-thousand rand each.
