A group of armed men robbed a bakkie transporting cash leaving Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday morning.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng says the gang used a Mercedes-Benz to ram the bakkie off the road.
They removed the canopy and took an undisclosed amount of cash before making their getaway in three cars.
No shots were fired.
Mofokeng says three security personnel were injured during the robbery and are receiving treatment at a local hospital.
No arrests have yet been made.
