Cars and keys stolen from PE valet company

Port Elizabeth police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Motherwell believed to be part of a syndicate which robbed a valet company in Newton Park on Tuesday.

The suspect is believed to be part of a group of six men who went into the valet company just before midday, held the staff at gunpoint, shoved them into a back office and fled with two vehicles; a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Etios.

These vehicles belonged to customers while keys to other vehicles were also taken.

Colonel Priscilla Naidu says police spotted the Etios parked in a yard in Bikina Street, Motherwell.

The Ford Ranger was recovered by Motherwell police members in Xhama Street

The suspect is expected to appear before the PE Magistrate's Cout tomorrow on a charge of business robbery.

Detectives are still hunting for the other suspects.
