Port Elizabeth police have warned the public about a spate of recent car thefts in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says stations that have been identified as being problematic areas Walmer, Humewood and Algoa Park policing areas.
"The vehicles that are being stolen are your older types of vehicle which is more easy to steal," she said.
Janse Van Rensburg says she could not confirm if a syndicate is involved adding that no arrests have yet been made.
Algoa FM News has also learnt that nine vehicle were stolen from various shopping centres on Wednesday.
