Car guard stabbed to death on Hobie Beach

Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of a car guard whose body was found at Hobie Beach on Wednesday morning with several stab wounds.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, says the victim was a 34-year-old man who lives in Central.

He says the suspect, also a car guard, is known to the police and an arrest is expected soon.

It's understood that the men had been involved in an argument which led to the murder.
