Four men from Philippi near Cape Town are due to appear in the George magistrates' court on Wednesday, after they were found in possession of 375kg of dagga and dagga seeds to an estimated street value of 525-thousand rand on the N-2 near George.
Police captain Malcolm Pojie says members attached to the Oudtshoorn K-9 Unit and Vehicle Identification Section acted on information received from a member of the public, and pulled over two suspicious vehicles at Kaaimans near George on Monday morning.
He says police found 18 bags of dagga and seeds stacked inside the cabin of one of the vehicles.
