The Cacadu District Municipality is planning to move its heads office from Govan Mbeki Avenue to Kirkwood and has now called for property owners in the town in indicate whether they are willing to alienate a portion of their property to the CDM.
Cacadu has been planning to move its head office for some time and the possibility of relocating to Jeffrey’s Bay was mooted at one point.
The decision to relocate from Port Elizabeth was, however, put on hold, due to
budgetary constraints.
The District Municipality is looking for a piece of land measuring at least two hectares, although the DM may consider a larger piece of land subject to budgetary and other considerations.
