The Cacadu District Municipality begins a roadshow on Thursday to get public comment on the municipality's budget and five year integrated development plan.
The Cacadu Municipality says the Intergrated Development Plan is a five-year developmental plan for the District which will have a direct impact on the lives of all those within the municipal borders.
Municipal manager Ted Pillay says they want to embark on a number of projects and programmes in the new financial year which starts on the First of July.
"It cuts accross infrastructure related projects, it also covers projects that relate to economic development including tourism, women empowerment, youth development, assisting people with disabilities as well as our capacity building and support programmes to the local municipalities these projects and programmes cover all local municipality areas" Pillay said.
