Butterworth detectives have appealed for help in tracing a woman who was allegedly abducted by four men in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says the woman, believed to be 18, was returning from a tavern with her boyfriend when they were confronted by four men armed with knives.
He says they attacked the couple who tried to flee but the woman could not get away and was dragged into a nearby forest.
Manatha says the woman's boyfriend rushed to get help but when he returned with police the woman was nowhere to be found.
