More than sixty people had a narrow escape on Saturday morning, when a bus plunged about ten methres down a sheer drop in the Prince Alfred Pass in the Southern Cape.
Disaster management chief at the Eden district municipality, Gerhard Otto, says 34 people sustained only light injuries.
The bus was travelling from Port Elizabeth to Knysna.
Meanwhile, a 51-year-old man has been killed and his 20-year-old son injured in a collission between George and Oudtshoorn.
Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn, says the accident happened about 15 kilometres from Oudtshoorn, on Friday.
She says the vehicle veered slightly into the oncoming lane and it hit a truck.
The truck driver and his three passengers were slightly injured.
