The death toll in October's fires in the Garden Route has risen to nine.
A spokesperson for SANParks Nandi Mgwadlamba said Sandra Davidson, who is married to one of their staff members, sustained severe burn wounds when three of the homes in the staff village burnt down in October.
Davidson was transferred from George Hospital to Tygerberg in Cape Town where she died.
Her death brings the number of people who have died as a result of the fires in Farleigh and Beervlei to 9.
Officials have also counted an unborn child as one of the victims bringing the total to 10.

More than 70 staff members are still homeless and are currently being housed at the Pine Lake Marina.
