Brief Court appearance for alleged Storms river rapists

Two men made another brief appearance in court in Storms River on Thursday in connection with the rape of an American woman.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says the case against the men, aged 25 and 26, was remanded to the 24th of June for further investigation.

The suspects were remanded in custody.

The two were arrested on Sunday night following the attack on the 47-year-old woman who was out jogging in the Tsitsikamma area earlier in the day. 

She is said to be a teacher at an American School in Gauteng.
