Bridge claims 84th victim

 The body of a 28-year-old Port Alfred man has been found in the gorge at the bottom of Van Stadens bridge.

Police spokesperson, warrant officer Marianette Oliver, says police were informed early on Tuesday morning about an abandoned bakkie spotted on the bridge.

She says the man's name has not yet been released.

He became the 84th person to commit suicide from the bridge.
