Boy drowns in EC farm dam

An 11-year-old boy has drowned in a farm dam near Alexandria in the Eastern Cape.
Police Captain Mali Govender, says the child was swimming with friends in the dam when he disappeared under the water yesterday afternoon.
His friends were unable to find him and police were called to help with the search.
The boy's body was found a short while later.
