The Dutywa magistrate's court was thrown into turmoil on MOnday following a bomb threat which turned out to be a hoax.
Police captain Jackson Manatha says the court building had to be evacuated and awaiting trial prisoners hurried to police cells.
He says member of the police's dog unit and bomb squad combed the court building but found nothing.
Manatha says cases resumed at 2pm on Monday afternoon and that police are investigating the hoax call.
