Willowvale Police are investigating a murder case following the death of a 52-year-old woman at Komkhulu Village earlier on Friday morning.
Police Captain Jackson Manatha says the incident took place around one am .
The victim was found in front of her house with stab wounds to her upper body.
No arrests have been made and police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that might lead to an arrest.
The victim's identity is being withheld until her next of kin have been informed.
