The search for a missing businessman from Hartenbos has ended in tragedy with the discovery of his body.
Fifty-three-year-old Desmond Share was reported missing last week when he never showed up for work in Herbertsdale.
Algoa FM News has been reliably informed that a prime suspect has been arrested, although police are yet to issue a formal statement.
It is also not yet clear where Share's body was discovered or how he died.
Share's vehicle was spotted a week ago at a petrol station near Buffelsjagsrivier outside Swellendam and money was also withdrawn on two occasions.
At the time police said they were investigating a case of hijacking after two suspects were captured on CCTV footage, driving his branded vehicle.
This is a developing story.
