East London police have found the body of a 15-year-old boy whose been missing since Monday.
Warrent Officer Hazel Mqala says the decomposing body of Lavela Kwayinto was found in dense bushes in Scenery Park on Friday night.
He was a learner at a school in the area.
Mqala say for now, police have opened an inquest docket. If a post mortem reveals foul play, the docket will be changed to one of murder.
Anyone who may have information on the boy's death is asked to contact the Scenery Park police station.
