Body of man found in Malabar, PE

Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of a man whose body was found in Malabar Ext 6 on Thursday.

Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said a relative of the victim reported hearing a noise from his shack in the early hours of this morning and when it was quiet she went out to investigate.

Naidu said the body of the 24-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

The motive for the shooting is not known.
