Police in Little Brak River have found the body a young girl, believed to be that of missing teenager Bonique Jansen.
Fifteen-year-old Jansen from Powertown has been missing for more than a week.
Algoa FM News has learnt that a body of a young girl was found next to the Little Brak River on Monday morning.
The discovery of the teenager's body comes merely two months after the body of another learner from Great Brak River Secondary School, 17-year-old Lesley Ann Maya, was found in the same neighbourhood.
No arrests have been made in either cases.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie says the body was found by a domestic worker who works in the area. The cause of death is not know yet and a post mortem will now be conducted.
