Body found next to R62 near Joubertina

 Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of murder after a body of a 48 year old man was found next to the R62 near Joubertina on Tuesday.

Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei says the body was found by children in bushes near the road.

He says the victim, 48-year old Johannes Arries had a stab wound to the neck.

Seekoei says a post-mortem will be conducted to confirm further details.

He says anyone with information can contact the police.
