George police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder and possible rape of a 23-year-old woman.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie says Chanè Manuel’s half-naked body was discovered next to the railway line near Buco in George last week.
Manuel, who lived in Parkdene, was lying on her stomach with her hands tied behind her back.
She was identified by her family members at the George Forensic Pathology Service’s Mortuary on Monday.
Two suspects who were arrested in the area for the possession of suspected stolen goods alerted police to Manuel's body.
Pojie says the suspects, aged 18 and 24, will appear in the city's Magistrates' Court on Friday.
