The Patriotic Alliance in Nelson Mandela Bay will table a motion of exigency to remove the mayor, Mongameli Bobani at Thursday's Council meeting.
PA councillor, Marlon Daniels, has accused Bobani of doing little to nothing for poor communities in the Metro, saying that he cannot be trusted in the office of the mayor.
He says Bobani takes instructions from just one individual on his mayoral committee, namely Andile Lungisa of the ANC.
Daniels also highlighted the fallout and subsequent murders of SMME contractors in the Metro.
He says if they had approached the appointment of the SMME's in a correct and transparent manner, there would not have been a loss of lives.
Daniels says Bobani and Lungisa have blood on their hands.
