A small group of workers from Sun International have been protesting outside the entrance to the Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth
The protest started on Friday afternoon with an estimated 70-80 workers picketing.
South African Commercial, Catering and Allied Workers Union shop steward told Algoa FM News why they have downed tools.
" We as SACCAWU members, that are for working for Sun International are currently on a deadlock as far as wages. We are demanding 8% and we also demand the newly in-sourced people from a company that used to be a sub to us, to also get an increase. Sun International does not want to give these people an increase and we believe they are not right by doing so" He said.
Police are monitoring the situation.
