The Equality Court has made a ruling against the political slogan for the party Black First Land First (BLF) by finding it to be hate speech.
The slogan "Land or Death" now has to be removed from all party regalia as well as their website and social media accounts, within a month.
The party was also ordered to issue a written apology to all South Africans, which will be published on The South African Human Rights Commission's website.
Furthermore, the case was handed over to Public Prosecutions to consider possible criminal charges.
