Carl Pistorius -- the brother of murder-accused paralympian Oscar Pistorius -- is out of danger after a serious car accident on Friday night.
His uncle Arnold Pistorius says in a statement that Carl's vehicle was hit head-on by another car that had swerved from the opposite side of the N1 highway into oncoming traffic just outside Modimolle in Limpopo.
He added that Carl was badly hurt and was transferred to a hospital in Pretoria for further treatment.
Pistorius was returning from a business trip in Polokwane. A colleague was following him in another car and witnessed the accident.
