Bisho reacts to legislature "sex for jobs" claims .

The ANC in the Eastern Cape says it supports the provincial government's investigation into allegations that interns had been coerced into have sex with officials in exchange for jobs.

Legislature speaker, Noxolo Kiviet, ordered a probe into the claims levels against the Legislature by the trade union Nehawu.

In a statement issued on Thursday, ANC provincial secretary, Lubabalo Mabuyane, said they want to urge anyone with information on these claims to communicate with the Speaker's office in the legislature and for those outside the legislature to report matters to the police.

He says the investigation by Kiviet will help to verify the claims.

He says the ANC in the Eastern Cape wants anyone who has been a victim of this to report the incidents so that it will be dealt with by the law enforcement agencies.
