Bhisho sends condolences to families of learners killed in an accident

 Eastern Cape Education MEC, Mandla Makupula has sent condolences to the families of five learners from Gwabeni Village near Flagstaff who died in an accident on Monday.

The learners, along with 11 fellow pupils, were killed in an accident involving a bus and a bakkie that was transporting them to school in Mbizana.

The injured learners, as well as the driver of the bakkie, are still in hospital.

Makapula says his Department will also provide counselling to the surviving learners, their families and the school.
