A 25-year-old suspect was arrested within hours of the murder of a 26-year-old man in Jacksonville, Bethelsdorp, on Wednesday afternoon.
Nelson Mandela Bay police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg reports that the body of Nevin De Vos was found in Almond Street with multiple stab wounds to his back and under his chin shortly before 3 pm.
Its believed that De Vos and the suspect were arguing when the fatal stabbing took place.
Captain Janse Van Rensburg says the suspect was arrested a short while later and will appear in the PE Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday next week on a charge of murder.
