Kabega Park police in Gqeberha made a swift arrest after a teenager was held at gunpoint and robbed at his home in Sherwood on Sunday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the 15-year-old boy was alone at the family home in Devon Place when he heard the dog barking outside.
He says the teen was overpowered by two armed suspects who held him at gunpoint while they ransacked the house for valuables.
The men fled the scene with a TV, Xbox, two laptops, two phones, a tablet, jewellery and a drone.
Captain Beetge says about five hours after the robbery, police, joined by security companies, arrested a 24-year-old suspect in Kuyga.
He says the suspect had one of the stolen phones in his possession.
One suspect remains at large.
Beetge says the teenager was not injured during the robbery.
