A 51-year-old man from Gqeberha who is currently out on bail for allegedly being in possession of child pornography has been re-arrested.
The man who is from Lorraine cannot be named to protect the identity of his children.
He is facing three charges which relate to the creation, distribution and possession of child pornography which is a schedule five offence.
The suspect allegedly exploited his twin daughters, who were eight years old at the time, by taking photographs of them in the bath in order to distribute naked images of them online.
During the 2016 investigation, police also found images of baby porn on his computer.
A source told Algoa FM News that the suspect is currently estranged from his wife and children.
The man who is out on bail of R10 000 has still not been sentenced as the trial is still ongoing.
He appeared briefly in the Magistrates Court on Monday for breaking his bail conditions.
The man was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on Wednesday.
