One of seven men charged in connection with a foiled platinum heist in Port Elizabeth two years ago, has been granted bail after his second attempt.
Judge Nomathamsanqa Beshe granted bail of R10 000 to 38-year-old, Madoda Nube, of New Brighton on Monday.
Nube and another co-accused, Lonwabo Neti, are the only two of the seven men charged in connection with the foiled heist in November 2011 in which six suspected robbers and a by-stander were killed, to get bail.
All seven face 17 charges that include murder, attempted murder, robbery and the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
