Bail denied for Mossel Bay father who allegedly kicked baby

A 24 year old man is appearing in the Mossel Bay Regional court today on a charge of attempted murder, after he allegedly nearly kicked his 5 month old baby to death. 

The victim and her 21 year old mother were attacked by the suspect in October last year.

The man, who is also the child's biological father, allegedly kicked the baby girl several times in the head after he also kicked the child's mother. 

Bail was denied and the suspect remains in custody for the duration of the trial.
