The Active United Front (AUF) in the Bitou Municipality at Plettenberg Bay will meet with the ANC party in Plettenberg Bay on Saturday.
This is to discuss a statement by the party's Bitou municipality mayor, Peter Lobese.
Earlier this week Lobese said in the statement that he, along with his party, would be ending its coalition with the ANC in Plettenberg Bay.
He said at the time that “it had become impossible to operate with the single-mindedness of the ANC.
AUF spokesperson, Howard Swartz said that statement was made by Lobese as Bitou mayor and not by the AUF as a party.
He said they would reassess their coalition agreement with the ANC tomorrow.
The AUF said it would meet with the public on Sunday to discuss the outcome of the meeting with the ANC.
