Port Elizabeth police are searching for 7 gunmen who robbed a popular pub in Circular Drive.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the gang hit the pub at around 8pm on Wednesday night and ordered patrons to lie down on the floor.
She says they emptied the cash register and also took cellphones and cash from the victims.
Janse van Rensburg says no shots were fired and no arrests have yet been made.
She has reminded business owners to take extra precautions in the run-up to the festive season.
