Another person jumps off Van Staden's bridge

 Police have confirmed that there has been another death at the Van Stadens Bridge on the N2 west of Port Elizabeth.
The deceased was a 35-year-old man from Port Elizabeth.

Police spokesperson, Warrant-Officer Marianette Olivier, says eyewitnesses reported that the man stopped his vehicle on the bridge at about 7.30pm on Thursday night, and jumped immediately.

His body was recovered on Friday.

Olivier says the man's name is being withheld, at the request of his next-of-kin.
