Police in Gqeberha are investigating yet another home invasion on a smallholding on the outskirts of the city.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the latest incident happened in Draaifontein Road at 8 pm on Saturday when five suspects entered the house through a door that was halfway open.
She says the 28-year-old complainant was in his room sleeping while the rest of the family were watching TV in the lounge.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says all the suspects were wearing masks and were armed with two guns and three knives.
She says they tied up everyone in the house before ransacking it.
The suspects fled on foot with jewellery, cash and electronic devices.
Nobody was injured during the robbery.
Several smallholdings have been targeted by an unknown group of assailants for almost two years with more or less the same modus operandi.
