A 59-year-old Port Elizabeth man was gunned down in Zwide in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, says the deceased, Nkwenkwezi Samuel Plaatjies had sustained three gunshot wounds and was found in Jabu street in Zwide just after 6 am.
He says while there were no witnesses to the incident, it is suspected that the killing was targeted.
Beetge says anybody who may be able to assist with any information regarding the murder should contact the Kwazakele police station.
