Port Elizabeth police are searching for 3 armed men who robbed a man of a substantial amount of cash on Thursday.
Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the 34-year old victim was confronted by the suspects after withdrawing money at an ATM in Commercial Road.
The suspects forced the man into his vehicle, and demanded that he withdraw more money at other ATM's.
Labans says he then stalled his vehicle at an off ramp on the N2, and the suspects got out and fled with around R14 000 in cash and his laptop computer.
He says the man tried to follow them, but he was stabbed in the arm with a knife.
The victim then noticed a police vehicle while driving himself to hospital, and informed them of the incident.
Labans says paramedics were called in to attend to the wounded man.
