ANC upset over DA sticker on Telkom bakkie

The ANC in the Eastern Cape has called on Telkom CEO, Sipho Maseko, to investigate why a DA sticker was spotted on an official Telkom vehicle.

ANC provincial spokesperson, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, says they also want Telkom to explain to the public how the DA sticker ended up competing with their corporate identity on one of their own bakkies.

Qoboshiyane says the bakkie, with Gauteng registration plates, was spotted this morning on the N-2 between East London and King Williams Town and was being "driven by a white male wearing a (sic) Telkom clothing."

He says unless Telkom has started an outdoor advertising division allowing political parties to glue their promotional stickers on its fleet, this sticker has to be removed with immediate effect.
