An Eastern Cape boat-builder will be exhibiting its new fun boat to Gauteng mariners at the Johannesburg Boat Show in August.
St Francis Marine will be showing its new St Francis Fun Boat for the first time at the show between the 24th and 26th of August.
Show organisors say the St Francis 50 Catamaran offers high levels of design excellence, construction and functionality and is ideal for rivers, dams as well as the ocean.
St Francis Marine will also be promoting its word-acclaimed St Francis 50 catamaran, which won a gold medal in its class at the world-famous Annapolis Boat Show in the United States.
The St Francis Fun Boat with its fine bows has been designed to gently slice through the water. A third "mini hull" creates extra buoyancy aft, allowing it to glide over shallow sandbanks.
The Production Manager at St Francis Marine says the boat is ideal for dams, rivers as well as the ocean and can be tailored to specific needs.
