Eastern Cape police are still searching for one suspect who escaped from the Ntabunkulu Magistrates Court on Monday.
Spokesperson Captain Raphael Motloung says he escaped with five other prisoners, who have already been re-arrested.
He says the suspects, aged 21-24 are facing charges of stock theft, common assault and burglary.
The re-arrested men appeared in court on Wednesday to face an extra charge of escaping from lawful custody.
Motloung says the suspect who is still on the run is considered dangerous and members of the community should not try to apprehend him by themselves.
