Alleged serial killer arrested in the Eastern Cape

Police Minister, Nathi Mthetwa, says a man believed to be responsible for a number of rapes and murders in KwaZulu-Natal, has been arrested in the Eastern Cape.
Police minister spokesperson Zweli Mnisi says 5 women had been murdered over the past few months. He says a suspect allegedly lured them by offering them jobs before raping and killing them. The bodies were disposed off in bushes in the Tonga area.
A 26 year old man was reportedly arrested in St Francis Bay on Sunday and is due to appear in court in Verulam on Tuesday.
Police Minister Nathi Mthetwa has commended the police for the arrest.
