Alleged hijackers arrested on R75 roadblock

Police in Graaff -Reinet arrested four suspects on Friday night following a routine roadblock on the R75.

Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the Volkswagen Polo was hijacked in Kamesh earlier this week.

This was confirmed by police at the roadblock, after doing a thorough search.

The suspects are currently being detained in Uitenhage and will appear in the local magistrates court on Monday.
