The six suspects who were arrested for allegedly defrauding Buffalo City of R11.8m, were released on R500 bail on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Ernest Sigobe, says they appeared in East London on Friday morning, and the case was postponed to Tuesday.
Sigobe says the probe came after Buffalo City opened a case of fraud and corruption.
Its understood the cases are linked to pilot projects launched by the Municipality in the lead up to the 2010 football world cup.
