Alleged drug dealer arrested at Knysna taxi rank

A 56-year-old man is expected to appear in the Knysna Magistrates Court on Thursday following his arrest for drug possession.

Spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says police held a sting operation on Tuesday and arrested the man at the taxi rank situated in Nelson Street.

He had 104 mandrax tablets as well as 21 bankies of tik, with a streetvalue of R7 000 in his possesion.

Police urged the public to continue to provide information on illegal activities.
