A learner from East London was killed after the car he was travelling in hit a tree.
Provincial Spokesperson for traffic Charles Bramwell says the victim and his two friends were coming back from a matric-farewell after party when the accident occurred.
The accident happened at about 3 o clock on Saturday morning at an intersection in Southernwood.
The 14 year old driver allegedly took his fathers car without permission and had two passengers with him.
Bramwell says the victim died on impact and had to be freed from the wreckage with the jaws of life.
The driver and his other passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile another two people were killed on Saturday morning when the Toyota Tazz they were travelling in lost control.
Bramwell says the accident happened about 8 kilometers outside Dordrecht in the direction of Queenstown.
The identities and ages of the victims are not yet known.
