20 year old arrested for unlawful possession of firearm

A 20-year-old male was arrested in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, for unlawful possession of unlicensed firearm on Monday evening.

Motherwell police spokesperson, Constable Mncedi Mbombo, said in a statement that the arrest follows a tip off they had received.

Mbombo said they found the hunting rifle hidden behind the fridge at his house in NU10.

The suspect will appear before Motherwell Magistrate Court soon.
