Sadec leaders blame Rwanda for supporting rebel groups

Southern African leaders yesterday accused Rwanda of supporting rebel groups in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, denouncing it as "interference" that threatens regional peace and stability.
The Southern African Development Community resolved to send a mission to Rwanda, as it wrapped up a two-day annual summit in the Mozambican capital, Maputo.
Executive secretary, Thomas Salamao says the security situation in the eastern part of the DRC has deteriorated in the last three months causing displacement of people, loss of lives and property.
